I have just gotten back from a lovely power walk in the sun and it's time to hop in the shower to get ready for today's celebrations.

It's Midsummer's Eve today, and us swedes celebrate it by drinking from morning 'til night, eating lots of good food including pickled herring, playing games and dancing around a pole, which represents a penis. True story!

I will be celebrating my Midsummer with some of my dearest friends out in the country, and if past years are any indication, then this year's celebration will leave me with sore abs from laughing, a slight hangover, and with no need to eat for the next week, haha! All the years we've been out there have been amazing (weather not included) and I know this time will be ace as well! It's even shaping up to be a sunny one, so I'm really chuffed! 

Anyways, my bestie and her hubby come and pick me up in about 90 minutes so I need to get ready.
