Hiya! My name is Jessica von Elgén, and I am a 24-year-old little Swedish goofball. I was born in Oxford, England, and grew up in France, Norway, but mainly in Stockholm, Sweden.

When I was 20, I packed up and moved to the land of whiskey, haggis, bagpipes, and kilts, in order to pursue my dream of becoming a journalist in the UK. Four years later I don't see myself ever moving back home to Sweden (news that disappointed my friends there) and my current goal is to move to Edinburgh, and start a life there.

In my spare time I like Netflix (and any other way I can watch series and films), reading, going for "fika" with my friends, and writing as much as I can. I also love travelling, and it is my goal to discover as many places as I can in this world!

Furthermore, I have the absolute best family in the world – no contest! My parents have always been generous, loving and supportive, but also strict and consequent, which gave me the perfect combination of love, adventures, and discipline, to prepare me for whatever life throws at me. I also have the most amazing friends in the world, and the cutest and most wonderfully sweet black poodle that can be found!
