Hey darlings! Hope y'all are having a good day so far.

I have just finished my breakfast and am about to get ready to go meet my parents in town. They are here to celebrate my mum's 55th birthday, which was yesterday. We celebrated by going to Filling Station where we had their famous fajitas – mum said that her b-day wish was to have those fajitas at Filling Station in Edinburgh lol – and they were d.e.l.i.c.i.o.u.s.

For dessert we shared a sticky toffee pudding, also delicious.

Now, I had to wait in the restaurant for like 30 mins first because my parents went to the wrong one haha. My bad – I should've told them there were two Filling's in Edinburgh.

Anyway, after dinner we went to The Dome and enjoyed some TATTINGER Champagne (side note: the capital letters were added by autocorrect, I'm not trying to scream the name haha). The Dome is one of the coolest bars I've ever been in, and I recommend that everyone who's in Edinburgh at least go in and have a look! It's amazing!

After drinks we decided to walk home to mine so my parents could see how I live, and we stopped by Akva for another drink since it was on the way.

It's so nice to have them here for a week. I've missed my ma and da! But now I better start getting ready so I can meet them in town by 11. We're climbing Arthur's Seat today!
