I can't believe I've been in Edinburgh for almost 24 hours. Feels longer. It's probably because I've not just been sitting on my arse since I got here. After my lovely friend Rowan picked me up from the airport, which makes her a start, we went back to her flat (which she is letting me stay in until I find something) and watched Netflix for a bit. Then I walked into town to view a room I was interested in renting.

However, when I got to the area I got a feeling in my gut saying "uh-oh, I've ended up at a family residence", and I was right. The woman who answered the door was your typical mother of youngsters, who looked like she hadn't had time for a shower in days, there was crayon doodles on all the walls, and a teeny tiny pair of sandals on the floor in the halls. Yup, I was going to be sharing with two parents and their small children. So I had to tell her right away that it wasn't what I was looking for. I mean, the room was really nice and she seemed alright, but I do not want to share a house with kids. They're not my thing!

So I had some time to wander around while waiting for my darling Rebecca to finish work. I ended up spending most of that time trying to find somewhere to charge my phone because I forgot to charge it and stupidly didn't bring a charger. I ended up having to pay £1.50 to charge my phone for 30 mins at the coach station, while just waiting nearby rolling my thumbs. Such a waste of money, but oh well.

I then met Rebecca and Dylan for dinner and then we went back to their flat, which is going to be my home in a few months when I take over her sister's room, and chilled. It was so great to hang out with them again! I missed them very mucho. I ended up staying the night because I couldn't be arsed going home, and slept in my future room. I can't wait to move in!

This morning I walked Rebecca to work and then had brunch in a cute little cafe on the way to rowans. I had a ham and cheese omelette mmmmm! I am now watching Suits at Rowans, putting off going for a shower because I can digging into my suitcase for my stuff lol.
