Hello strangers! Long time no speak. As you may have noticed I haven't been active for a while, and I have no other excuse than that I've been busy with life. I also may have been to lazy to sit down and update y'all.

On Friday, however, I was just ready to write a post with my latest update, but the events in my life were overshadowed by an event in my hometown Stockholm. A terrorist attack in the heart of the city.

I was just chilling in the backyard with my parents when my mum got a text from my brother letting us know that he was safe from the attack. So we all immediately got our phones to find out what had happened. When I read the news a rush of terror washed over me, chilling me to my very core, because I realised that there was a chance that someone I know and love could've been a victim.

But thank god! All of my loved ones were elsewhere when the attack took place and thus they were safe. But this means that terrorism has now officially come to Sweden, which is heartbreaking, but not unexpected news. With the fucked up government the country has had for the past few years, opening the borders to all kinds of riffraff (along with the sound people), it wasn't a question of IF, but a question of WHEN something like this would happen. Nevertheless it still breaks my heart because Stockholm is where I grew up and it will always be a home.

However, this event and has made my mind straight up that I won't be moving back to Sweden for a while. You know what? I won't be moving back to Sweden until Sweden is Sweden again, because right now everything's just completely messed up as far as I know.

So instead I'll be going back to live in Scotland, which was my news on Friday morning – that I've booked my flight to go back to Scotland and move to Edinburgh.

For anyone interested, I'll be flying back to Edinburgh in exactly two weeks, on April 23rd. I'm actually really excited to start my life there! I've had enough time relaxing in the sun (in theory).
