Sunday afternoon. I can't believe I've been in Thailand for 3 weeks already! It's gone by so quickly, but yet it feels like I've been away so much longer! Tonight Grace and I get on an overnight bus to start our journey down to Koh Tao for some beach (and probably party) time! I'm so excited!!

The rest of my time here in Bangkok has been great and free of scams. I met up with my new Norwegian gal pals at the weekend market (which the scammer tricked me was only selling gardening stuff on Saturdays). We struggled a lot to find each other at first though, because we just kept walking past each other haha! But we eventually found each other and we spent a few hours looking at all the stuff hey we're selling there. I ended up buying a couple sports shorts with a matching vest top to wear as comfies (the shorts only barely cover my bootylishious backside though), a pink crop top (which fits me perfectly) and a fake Gucci bag (can't go to Thailand and not buy at least one knock off).

We wandered around the scorchingly hot market until about 5 pm, when we decided it was time to head home. So we said our goodbyes and they went to the metro train and I hopped on a very old shuttle bus. It was great to see them one last time!

Anyway, when I got back to the hotel Grace was waiting for me, so we went and got dinner at a Chinese place (bit weird to have Chinese food in Thailand haha) before getting ready to go out for, what I thought was, a chilled drink. We were supposed to meet up with some guys that Hannah and Grace hung out with in Singburi the past week, at a place cold Lucky Beer, and when we got there the place was already heaving and people were partying like crazy already. So much for a quiet drink! So I spent a couple of hours partying away with Grace and the guys, which was a lot of fun! However, as people go more and more drunk while I was still relatively sober (not wNting to get drunk) I decided to go home around midnight.

I bought some munch on the way home, which I ate in my bed while finishing watching Notting Hill. I then went to sleep and waited to be woken up by a drunk Grace banging on the door as we only have one key.

But nope. I woke up at like 6:45 am and Grace hadn't come home yet. She was fine though, had stayed at a guy's place (of course), and came home at like 8:30. We both got ready and packed up our things, then went to pick up our bus tickets for the overnight bus.

After that we went to what I fought was a large shopping mall, which turned out to be shit, so we just got lunch there (McDonald's yaaaay) and then got a taxi to the MBK Centre, where I am currently sat at Starbucks, charging my phone. I went and panic-bought a cheap charger because I don't know when I'll get to charge my phone again and I'll need it for the bus!!

So now I'm just waiting for Grace to come back. We gave ourselves a little too much time, thinking it was a normal shopping mall, but it's just a MASSIVE market pretty much, so I haven't found anything I want to buy. I should have done my research first ffs! Oh well, I'm perfectly content here now that I came charge my phone. After this we are going back to the hotel to pick up our bags and hen we're off to the bus station. Can't wait to go down to Koh Tao for some more beach time and to see all our pals again!
