Yesterday morale was low again. I woke up with a sore tummy after a pretty crappy sleep since I kept waking up all through the night. And Hannah was stressed out and in a bad mood because of her travels plans to go back to Canada being really uncertain (she's booked a flight now and kind of knows what she's doing so she's better today haha) so she was in a pissy mood all day. So in turn we kind of affected each other's mood to the worse. However, we still went for our morning walk, which was lovely.

After breakfast we were driven to a temple where we each got a broom and helped sweep up the leaves in the area.

Then we went to the elephants, which once again made my heart break, because this is how elephants should not be kept. This was the classic Thailand tourist attraction with elephants wearing saddles and taking tourists for rides around the area. Although judging by the elephants' body language they seemed happy, but I guess they don't know any different. Also, even though it's not how I should be, at least the elephants get to walk around (which is natural for them) when they take the tourists for walks. But still, it's not right.

Anyway, after this little stop we went to the beach, which was the same beach as the day before, just further down. OH MY GOD it was so windy!!! I'm talking about the kind of wind that makes everything that's not heavy just fly off if you don't hold it down, and that blows sand all over you. But we made the most of it, and I got a pretty nice tan :) I also took a long walk along the beach, during which I found these interesting things:

When we got back to the guest house we had dinner and then got ready to go to the night market again. Me and Hannah just walked straight through it and decided to go explore Hua Hin instead. We strolled through the streets near the beach among all the other tourists (most of them Swedish), bought a coconut, and then went down to the beach because Hannah wanted to take some photos there. I took some as well but they didn't come out too great haha.

Hannah's came out much cuter than mine because she's so unbelievably tanned!

When we were done taking photos we started walking back, and we found more familiarities from home: McDonald's and Burger King! So we went into McDonald's and got ourselves an ice cream cone each, and OMG it was so yummy! I forgot how much I love the McDonald's ice cream!!

We were a little early coming back to the car so we had to wait for the other. And true to form the chinese people were late, so we had to wait for ages, during which time I got bitten by Mosquitos. And I had only just gotten rid of my old bites!!! So annoying.

Anyway, Hannah and I skipped out morning walk today because we were both too tired. We'll just do an evening walk instead. Today we're off to hell clean a beach (yay) and then it's tanning time again! Or I'll be spending most of my time in the shape since I have still burned a little bit, but it shall be lovely nonetheless!
