This weekend has been one for travelling, moving from the north to the south. The horrible bus ride wasn't actually that horrible and by some miracle I managed to sleep quite a bit! I just plugged my earphones in, put my neck pillow on and snoozed away. The whole ride was pretty confusing since none of the drivers spoke English so we didn't always understand why we were stopping and stuff like that. But it wasn't too bad actually.

When we got back to Twin House in Singburi, my friends Hannah had been waiting up for us like she said she would. So me, Hannah and Grace (also my roommate during the first week) stayed up for a bit just catching up on the events of the past week. Then we got a short night sleep before the last breakfast at the Twin House.

After breakfast Hannah and I, plus two other girls, for on the back of a truck, which would take us to the bus station in Singburi... or so I thought. Nope, turned out we were going to ride on the back of this truck ALL THE WAY down to Hua Hin, meaning we'd be on it for five hours!! It was a crazy, and again, confusing ride because the driver kept taking little detours to various places while we were just sitting there wondering what was going on (seemed like he went past his mum's to pick up a laptop bag?!) and then when we got to Hua Hin they kept getting lost. So it took a while longer that it should have, but we finally got there!

The place is really peaceful and pretty, and we're staying in a great room, which has both AC and a TV!!! The to only has one channel (from what I could tell) which shows some kind of monk ceremony, but still! We have a tv!! No hot shower though, but hey, you can't have everything.

This morning Hannah and I were up at 7 to go for a morning walk, and got back just in time for breakfast, which was very western for a change! We got egg sandwiches, and cornflakes and milk (!!), plus the usual watermelon, and tea and coffee. I discovered yesterday that my stomach accepts toast (it's been feeling sore after everything I eat lately, even boiled eggs) so I had a sandwich for breakfast.

Soon we're off to another temple (kill me - so sick of them) and then to a market, and the it's BEACH TIME!!! Can't wait! :D
