The last day of the Siam Culture program is now finished, and what an amazing few days it has been! Today me and two girls from the group met at 7 am to go for a walk in the cool morning air, before breakfast at 8. It was very nice to get to see the area before everyone was up and awake. It was both surprising and not surprising that the Thai people were up and about already. Sadly I forgot to bring my phone so I don't have any pictures.
After breakfast we all got in our transportation truck and it drove us to the final temple we were visiting. This one was supposed to hold buddah's footprint, which was absolutely massive! And I thought he was human? Ruined the illusion to be honest. But oh well... then we walked down these long stairs, with three sections – love, health, and good luck – and you had to hold your breath walking down it or it wouldn't work.

Then we went up to a view point the temple. We had to walk 290 steps (!!!) to get to it, and the entire time I was thinking "the view better be worth it". And it was! Look!

In the afternoon we went to a town where monkey roam about. I don't remember the name of the place, but it was cool. Although the monkeys weren't actually running around the city (from what I could see) but they were hanging around this building. So we went in and fed them, which caused them to climb on us. I was kind of weary at first because I was afraid of getting bit, and also because I thought they were a bit gross. But they were cute still.

Now awaits a couple days to do what we want – weekends are our free time – so a few people went into Bangkok for the weekend while the rest of us stay here. I was going to go to Bangkok first, but I am so unbelievably drained from this week's activities that I decided I need a coupe days to just take it easy. We are planning on going to the local pool all day to work on our tans.
