Tonight's unexpected turn of events

Oh my god, what a fucking night! Excuse the language, but I can't put it any other way. The nice barbecue we went to tonight was followed by a party, which I had been told was going to be a little bit crazy, but it took as turn that I was not expecting! 

I sent myself home pretty early (11 pm) because I wanted to be at least semi-fresh for tomorrow, but then my roommate got back, who had a massive gash on her foot that would not stop bleeding! So after about an hour of taking care of her, and trying to stop the bleeding, we convinced her that she could not just go to bed with it (which she wanted to in her drunken state) and before I knew it I was on my way with her and two others in our group, to take her to the hospital so she could get stitches. 

We were all drunk and trying so hard not to laugh at how ridiculous the situation was! I am only just home from the trip and finally on my bed ready for the few (not nearly enough) hours of sleep before tomorrow. That was certainly a part of the Thai culture I hadn't planned on! It was quite an experience.
