This weekend past I decided to watch a few films that I've been wanting to see for ages, but just never got around to watch. And they were all amazing, and all left me with a feeling of being content with the world, haha!

First, I finally watched The Secret Life of Pets, and I really enjoyed it, just like I thought I would. However, the story wasn't what I expected, and I have to admit that I would've probably liked it even more if the story was simpler and more related to reality. Like, if it had been more focused on what exactly pets get up to when we're not home, or just how their life with us is from their perspective. But nevertheless, I loved the film. i thought it was really cute and funny and clever!

The second film I watched was The BFG. I loved it! I fell completely in love with BFG with his charming was of speaking, his silly walk, and his kind eyes. and to sound like a cliche, watching the film made me wish that i could have a giant like that for a friend! I thought that the actor playing BFG was spectacular (although I spent the entire film trying to figure out where I'd seen him in before, but I still haven't haha!) but to be honest, I wasn't too impressed with the little girl's acting performance. She seemed a little stiff and unnatural at times... But hey, it's not like i can do it better.

One film that I've wanted to see for adages, but just kind of forgot about after it went out of the cinema, is Big Hero 6. i hadn't seen the trailer for this (not for the other two either, actually) so I had no idea what to expect. So I was completely blown away by the clever story, the amazing acting, the brilliant music and basically every aspect of this movie! I didn't even look at my phone once! And let me telly you: that doesn't happen often! I would say it was the best out of these three films and I can see myself watching it over and over. It might be my new Wreck-It Ralph! Absolutely glorious film! But then again, what else can be expected by Disney?! (P.S. I want Baymax to be my friend)
