The love story of Dr House

I just finished the last season of Dr House (finally) and I was in tears. I only watched up until the 7th season before because the season finale was way too exaggerated for my taste, so I just thought they had taken it too far. But then I decided I might as well finish the last season, and it was, of course, great. Especially the ending of that last episode, man.
But watching the last season made me realise something... every series has a core love story or power couple, and in Dr House the power couple is not House and Cuddy, and the core love story is not between them – it's House and Wilson. James Wilson is the one person who never has, and never will leave House's side, and he is also the only person that can get through to him. Even though they both frustrate each other, and fight and bicker all the time (which is really funny), it is always so obvious how much they love and care about each other, and that they can't live without each other. This is something that the final episode really proved, especially how much House really loves and cares about Wilson. It was so beautiful that it had me in tears. The perfect ending to an amazing TV series.
Now I need to find a new series to watch... I'm thinking Stranger Things maybe.
