What made me shriek this morning

Just heard on the Swedish news that every second beauty salon is ok with performing Brazilian waxes on 11-year-olds! It actually made me shriek when the presenter said it. This is absolutely outrageous! I don't know if it's the same here in the UK or other countries in the world, but I assume so. Whatever happened to letting children be children? I have accepted that stores sell heels and crop tops to little girls even though I'm against it, and that five-year-olds sit with an iPhone or iPad instead of playing with real toys, because that's just technology advancing and blabla... but allowing an eleven year old girl wax off her first pubes (which, let's face it, they will be) is just too far!
