This year it's HELL-NO-WEEN for me

Every year at this time of year, people decide to be someone else for a night, day, or even the entire weekend. I was never too into it when I was living back home in Sweden, probably because it wasn't such a massive hing in Sweden back then (from what I've seen, it is now). Then I moved to Scotland, and got involved in the whole university party scene, where everyone is very into Halloween and suddenly, I was, too. So every year I've said I'm not going to goo all in because it's to expensive and time consuming etc, but then oopsie, I still ended up spending tens of pounds on make-up and outfits, and hours on my makeup. Last year, though, I didn't spend that many pennies (mainly because I didn't have any hah!) but still spent a very long time doing my makeup. I think I went as some kind of dark creature, not 100% sure. I spent ages on my makeup because I love doing my makeup.

Anywhooooo, this year I just really can't be arsed with any of it. Could be because I'm getting older, could be because I'm saving as much as I can, could be because I've got myself a new job, or simply because I'm ill and tired, but I just... nah. I don't feel like getting dressed up with tons of makeup and an uncomfortable costume, to go out and get drunk, wrecking or loosing most of my getup, and spending the next day contemplating my existence.
