Amazing Hamburgers Ketchup On The Side

What's up guys? So, today took an interesting turn, because I woke up to a message from my friend who is the new assistant manager for the new Five Guys restaurant, which is opening in Aberdeen on the 31st of October. I messaged him last night and he told me to come down for interviews today at 10 am or 1 pm.

I read this message at 9:15, so interview at 10 am, naah wouldn't be possible haha. But I got ready, ran to the library to print off my CV and a picture of myself, and went to the interview at 1pm.

The whole process consisted of a presentation from the managers about the company and what we can expect, then a couple of group exercises, where we got given a total of 6 letters, and were told we had to make up a sentence with a word starting with each one of those letters. The first sentence our group came up with, which was supposed to be about how we see Five Guys, is the lovely one in this post's title, which I came up with (just saying). The second one was about how we see Aberdeen, where our result was: Always Freezing Unbelievably Boring Zombie Town haha. We also had to say the last sentence in a squeaky voice! The whole interview process was different and fun! Then there was the one-on-one interviews, which also went well, even though my friend ended up interviewing me! They selected us randomly so it was funny that Connor got first me, and then our friend Conor. Very funny coincidence, haha!

Anyway, the whole interview process really got me excited about Five Guys and I could really see myself working there! It's the first restaurant/bar/hospitality job I've been this excited for! So I really REALLY hope I get it!! I also need to try one of these burgers, because they do seem to have Amazing Hamburgers (Ketchup On The Side)!!

I also really hope my friend Conor gets hired as well as me, because then I would get to work with two of my favourite Connors! I am genuinely so excited, so pleeeeaase God (or whoever controls my life) make sure Five Guys hire me!

I shall be waiting by the phone.
